Produal and HK Instruments brands unite – unveiling clarity and simplicity through the integration

Produal and HK Instruments are merging. Produal acquired HK Instruments in 2021, so the merger was anticipated.

CEO Anselmi Immonen emphasizes that the merger is a logical step. “We have operated together for two and a half years. Now, by bringing our brands together, we add clarity and simplicity to our customer experience.”

Sales and Marketing Director Pekka Keskiaho agrees: “The integration of the HK Instruments brand into Produal strengthens our joint position in the market. Merging under a new, common brand helps us respond to today’s challenges, including internationalization and digital presence.”

The renewed Produal plans to focus more on product development and international growth. “The international regulation of the building industry is continuously evolving. We are already strong in the Nordic countries, but we aim to sharpen our international growth,” says Immonen.

The merger is seen as a positive transition. Produal continues to serve its customers with high-quality products, and now the new room transmitter family (RT, RTX) offers additional options to the market. This new product family is a prime example of the new Produal’s product development work. Produal promises to bring innovative solutions to the market and continue supporting its customers in all their building automation needs.

Produal Oy and HK Instruments Oy start to operate under a common Produal brand on 16th January, 2024. The legal merger of these companies will take place during the spring 2024. This will be informed separately. There will be no changes regarding the staff.
